Just read an interesting post here http://internetprofituniversity.com/blog/important-google-wordpress-font-tracking/

I myself faced to page load bottleneck sometimes with Google fonts, especially for clients who host their websites in slower Internet connections. With this privacy issue raised in that post, wondering if StudioPress wants to remove Google Fonts usage in the themes?

Even if studiopress would remove it - you would still be tracked on the admin page, which is the whole point of the linked article.

And than - everyone is using chrome anyways.

I don't see a big need to remove it.

Privacy...is now nothing more than an illusion. Anyone who thinks they have any privacy is just fooling themselves. Privacy is a thing of the past, and this Google fonts stuff is just not worth worrying about.
