    I'm new using an HTML5 theme, Agency.

    Using Genesis Simple Hooks, how do I get an Adsense responsive ad to display below the Title and the author (By WP) meta info? The closest I could find was the "genesis_entry_header Hook," but it displays the ad between the title and the "By WP" meta info. This did not happen using a non/pre HTML5 theme.

    Try adding a widget area http://wpsites.net/web-design/adding-new-widget-areas-in-studiopress-themes/

    You may need to add a third parameter for positioning.

    You can try the genesis_entry_content hook with a 3rd parameter of 5

    add_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'your_function', 5 );
