We recently installed an SSL certificate to make our WordPress site "secure." Finally got everything working correctly on the external site but seem to have one last obstacle to getting security on the admin portion.

We get a mixed content error shown in Chrome Developer Tools as: "...contains a form that targets an insecure endpoint 'http://genesisfinder.com/search/'. This endpoint should be made available over a secure connection."

It occurs in the admin top line menu bar under "Genesis". I've searched through all the php code and searched the database, but cannot find this string to solve this issue.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

    Thanks!

What is genesis finder? It is not a StudioPress product or theme, nor is it a function of the Genesis Framework. If you are using a theme from a third party, you'll have to contact the theme developer for assistance.

Genesis Finder is a part of Genesis Theme. In admin mode, there is a Genesis menu item in the menu along the top of the screen. When you hover over it, the bottom item in the Genesis menu is GenesisFinder Search. It is this menu item that uses http: rather than https:. That's what needs to be changed to achieve security on the admin side of our WordPress site.

When you go to genesisfinder.com, it rolls over to https://deckerweb.de/.

Genesis finder is not part of the Studio Press Genesis framework, nor is it a Studio Press product. If you purchased your theme from deckerweb, this is something they added through a customization or plugin. You'll have to contact them for support.
