I'm still using WordPress classic editor, I know sooner or later I will have to go with the WordPress block editor. On the occasions I have played with the new block editor I've notice you can add background color - similar to Genesis content boxes, and you can also add buttons with the block editor.
So question is, is it better to use the Genesis theme content boxes and buttons, or use the background color and buttons in the block editor?

Have you requested your free website audit yet?November 9, 2019 at 2:48 pm #494586AnitaKeymaster@blogdaz if you use the Classic Editor, you would need to go find the Hex color and then add that hex with the corresponding boxes/buttons via the Additional CSS box or changing the code directly in the stylesheet. If you use the Block Editor, you can select those colors right in the block for the boxes/buttons. So if you are looking for a faster way to do it, I think the block editor would be good to use. If you can code up quickly using CSS, then working up the CSS might be good. I think it depends on ones skill level and what works best for them.

Just wondering though, if any any method is better for load speed and SEO?
I have managed to publish a couple of posts with the block editor by the way. I've notice when use the code editor, or view the code, it looks as follows.......
<!-- wp:heading {"level":3} -->
<h3>Vist Pattaya in the Low Season</h3>
<!-- /wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The best time to get cheap hotel deals in Pattaya is in the low season, May to November for most hotels, and June to October for a minority.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>It's also true that if you book well in advance you can get some really cheap deals in the high season, but generally, you'll find the cheapest rates at hotels in every price range during low season.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->IE, the whites spaces between paragraphs or any other blocks. And when you view the source code of a page it also look as follows.....
<h3>Vist Pattaya in the Low Season</h3>

Again, with the white spaces. Is this normal behavior with the block editor?
Also, there's the additional style sheet, "/wp-includes/css/dist/block-library/style.min.css" is there any way to avoid this?
Thanks Anita.

November 9, 2019 at 9:02 pm #494600AnitaKeymasterThat to me would be more a WordPress and/or SEO question versus a theme question. You might get better feedback joining a WordPress Facebook group.

November 9, 2019 at 10:43 pm #494601BlogDazParticipantThank you once again Anita. Can you give any advice about the white spaces?. I ask mainly because using the classic editor in html mode there are no spaces between paragraphs.
Using block editor, even if you remove the white space in draft, they revert to having the white spaces once published.
Best regards,
