    Hi all.

This is a FYI kinda post. Following a PHP upgrade, to 5.4, Simple Sidebars broke on my sites with that particular host. I was a bit worried as one site in particular makes extensive use of Nathan's rather good plugin.

So here's a fix from the very kind Nick Ciske: https://gist.github.com/nciske/d5abe8b3903d08f9e71d#file-plugin-php

Just overwrite in 'edit plugins' and all's sweet again 🙂

Thanks for sharing. I rarely use this plugin, but this is good to know.

Would this be an issue with my current site? http://www.drlaureen.com/blog/

I have created a separate sidebar for this page, but it doesn't show up even though I have it selected inside the page - the sidebar that shows currently is the default.

Hi @tonyedd, tried that code from Nick Ciske and am still having an issue with the Simple Sidebar plugin not showing secondary sidebar options to select. Just shows the primary default option.

    Am I missing something?
