This is a public community forum where questions are answered by volunteers. We're end users just like you. We have no affiliation with Studio Press or what they are planning to release in the future.

Just because a plugin hasn't been updated for a while doesn't mean it no longer works. I suggest you either ask your question in the plugin support forum, or open a support ticket directly with Studio Press.
