    I have some problem with pagination and rel="prev"/ rel="next".

    1. When I use Genesis Sample theme and Yoast plugin is deactivated, rel="prev"/ rel="next" is correctly occuring in source code of Homepage, Tag Archives, Category Archives.

    2. When I use default WordPress theme (twenty fifteen) and Yoast plugin is activated, rel="prev"/ rel="next" is correctly occuring in source code of Homepage, Tag Archives, Category Archives.

    3. When I use Genesis Sample theme and Yoast plugin is activated, rel="prev"/ rel="next" is correctly occuring in source code of Tag Archives, Category Archives, but not of Homepage.

    I thought it is a problem with Yoast plugin, but combined with default WordPress theme the plugin works ok. I also found an explanation on Yoast plugin site:

    Why is this not working on my paginated content?
    Our plugin utilizes the built-in WordPress core functions to recognize pagination. Some plugins and theme developers have modified or created their own method of adding pagination. In these cases, custom code may need to be written by a developer to pass information between our plugin and the plugin or theme creating the pagination. Please reach out to the developer of the plugin or theme in question to request information on being compatible with our plugin.

    Am I right that there is some problem with pagination implementation in Genesis Sample Theme that is causing some problems with pagination on Homepage? Why this problem does not occur on Tag / Category Archives, only on Homepage?

    My Homepage is: http://interpretacjevat.pl/

    One of Category Archives: http://interpretacjevat.pl/kategoria/uchwaly-nsa-vat/
    One of Tag Archives: http://interpretacjevat.pl/tag/stawka-vat/

    I changed default "/page/*" uri for "/strona/*" with this code (functions.php):

    function custom_pagination_base() {
        global $wp_rewrite;

        $wp_rewrite->pagination_base = 'strona';
    }
    add_action( 'init', 'custom_pagination_base' );

    Switching back to default pagination uri (/page/*) doesn't help.
