I am trying to make the images in the slide show taller so they will not be unpleasingly cropped, I have changed the dimensions in the responsive slider settings several times and have sifted extensively through the code and cannot seem to get the slider to present a more square "taller" slideshow. I am looking for more of a 4x3 or say 650x487

Re-upload and re-associate the file with your page/post.
The reason is the slider image is made when you upload the image.
if you changed the size the old size slide was created already...

(I change my function file too...
The slider images size in the Theme Function file....
add_image_size( 'slider', 660, 250, TRUE ); this is what one of mine looks like... )

The long time users can correct me if I have it wrong... but it's worked for me.

thanks for the response, I didn't go with that but rather resized all of my artwork in photoshop to all be a specific size and created new posts, worked perfectly without modifying or adding any code. thanks for the response.
