    Hello,
Is there a way I can change the Genesis Featured Posts Widget to display from a list of selected categories instead of a single category?

You can look for an extended version of the widget which includes that setting in a plugin

    or

You can copy the widget code and modify it.

    Thanks for the quick response.
Now, I know very little about modifying WordPress files and even less when it comes to Genesis.
How can I go about learning how to edit that widget code?

    I'm doing something wrong.

I'm trying to apply it and my site is crashing.

How do I install the code?

The code will also need modifying.
