    Hi, wp engine, which hosts my site, says that the genesis featured posts are causing a ton of redirects. Why is this happening?

    Something is going on as WPEngine is usually blazing fast. Your site is slow to load big time.

    You may want to take a look at this report: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.amfm-magazine.com/SbRM9yAw

    Your home page is over 18Mb and is making 589 HTTP requests. That is way too big for a home page. This report also identifies 65 or redirect chains, all caused by your advertising.

    I've removed the advertising, it seems to have been the problem, thank you

    Meanwhile, another question. How can I get my homepage to have my embedded video player go across the top, i.e., appear larger? I was using layer slider previously to do this, but I'm wondering which genesis widget can force full screen across?

    Another person on this thread suggested it was the advertising, which I've removed. Now I have another question, as you are a developer.
