    I'm trying to get a wider content area for the Genesis child theme.

    Under the media query section I changed .content from 65% to 80% and .sidebar from .30 to .15. This increased the content area from 702 px to 862 px. Then I changed .content to 90% and .sidebar to .5. The content area stayed at 862px.

    How do I expand the content area to 1000 px?

    PS. If you take a look at my site, I moved .content/.sidebar values back to 65%/30%
