This week my site is having some major problems (performance, inconsistent loading, etc). In troubleshooting the issues, I turned off all plug-ins and turned them each back on. I also inadvertently activated the Genesis framework theme which then deactivated my Magazine Pro child theme. I quickly discovered the error and reactivated Magazine Pro, but now my site is a mess. For example, the Home Top widget appears in the header below the logo now. Two of the footer widgets are missing, etc. Did accidentally deactivating Magazine Pro cause this?

I also found out, today, that my host server has been having major issues. I don't know if these site layout issues are caused by what I did or if they could have anything to do with the server issues.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I was able to use Chap GPT to find my answer to this question, and I resolved it myself. Server issues also are also fixed. Crisis resolved. 🙂
