    Hi guys,

I am looking to add a 728x90 banner right under my nav menu and right before my content.
    Exactly like my site: http://bit.ly/1cpiME7

My test site is this: http://bit.ly/18VG5dq

    Thank you for your help!

You are modifying the Genesis Framework itself and not a child theme. By doing so, any updates will override what you have done. I would highly suggest you use a child theme or even the Sample theme to get started.

Ok not a problem. So then how would I still add the ad code? Maybe to keep it simple, how can I add it centred under the nav menu?

Add a widget or hook it in directly.

    Start with this:

Please copy ALL the code from the view raw link and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++

Center the banner image HTML in a new post draft and then paste it into a text widget in your new after header widget area.
