I am using Genesis with the "Generate" child theme.

Out of the box the theme includes a default "Home Page" that includes the Generate box in the page along with the most recent articles.

I would like to switch to a static page as my site's Home Page, but still include the Generate Box on my static page. However, I can't figure out how to get the Generate Box on my static page!

Can someone point me in the right direction to understand the steps to put the Generate Box on my static page?

Thanks in Advance for your help!!

One way this can be done is by renaming the home.php file in your theme folder to front-page.php then remove the grid loop code below that (be sure to leave genesis(); at the bottom).

Upload this file then you can set a static page as your front page in the WordPress settings.

Is there a way to get the front page to be nothing but the generate box and the footer widgets?
