    Hello guys.
    I'm using the new Generate Pro theme as I loved the opt in boxes, but after 2 days, the white box where you enter your email changed to an smaller box as you can see here: http://stream-seo.com/

    This happens on every widget (home top, after content and sidebar) and don't know what's happening.
    I haven't changed anything on my CSS, however. Can somebody help me and have a look at it?

    For reference, here's how the email field should look like: http://demo.studiopress.com/generate/

    Thank you!

    I was troubleshooting a similar issue on another theme. The developer of that theme took a look at your site. She said it's your lightbox css file - the padding in that css is overriding the css for that input field.

    Check your lightbox css line 137. It has a padding of 0. The padding for the email input area is 16px.

    Hello Anitac.
    Thanks for the help.

    If I change the padding to 16px, would that affect my lightbox design?

    Thanks on advance!

    Probably. But locate the 16px on the input field and put !important with it to see if it will force it to behave properly.

    I have another solution for you. Carrie Dils created a plugin called Genesis Style Trump. It helps to keep your own CSS in tact when using plugins - https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-style-trump/. Install this and you won't need the !important. You can do either one - but the plugin may serve more than one purpose for you.

    Thanks for the help, Anitac.
    I just tried the plugin and it didn't work. Don't know what's going on 🙁

    I guess I need to make the change first, but can't fine the line to edit in my CSS file.

    Okay so look at this - I added the !important after 16px. Do that to yours and it should work.

    input, select, textarea {
        background-color: #fff;
        border: 1px solid #ddd;
        box-shadow: none;
        color: #222;
        font-size: 16px;
        font-weight: 300;
        padding: 16px !important;
        width: 100%;
    }

    Should I add this on the chile theme CSS or in the parent CSS?

    Locate that in your "style.css" and add the - !important - to that line.

    DONE!
    And it's fixed now!

    I added it to the parent theme first, but now corrected it to the child theme. i had to delete the plugin and flush the cache so I could see it.

    Thank you very much! Seriously.

    Regards.
