Function only seen when logged in as admin

hey guys this is my code:

add_action('genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap', 'hello_world'); 
function hello_world () {
    echo "hello world";
}

The weird thing is, the "hello world" is only seen by me when I loged in as Admin. any idea why?
