    Hey I like the homepage so much I want to use it as a template where I can just hand code the lot without having it widget driven.

    I thought that answer would be to make a template that gets rid of the site inner like this:

    //Adds Page Content
    add_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'epik_do_fullPage_content' );
    function epik_do_fullPage_content() {
        echo '<div itemprop="text">' . get_post()->post_content . '</div>';
    }
    // Remove 'site-inner' from structural wrap
    add_theme_support( 'genesis-structural-wraps', array( 'header', 'nav', 'subnav', 'footer-widgets', 'footer' ) );
    get_header();
    do_action('genesis_before_loop', 'epik_do_fullPage_content' );
    get_footer();

    But I am just getting the white screen of death, with this code.

    Any thoughts on my direction & code?

    Many thx in advance,

    Clint

    Try this

    You can copy and rename the page_landing.php file and add/remove code directly in the file.
