    Hi
    I am using the Beautiful theme and have just upgraded Genesis from 2.2.3 to 2.2.4 and now the Full Width Template does not work?! The default site layout is right sidebar and in the required Full Width page the correct option is chosen but it shows the right sidebar? I tested by creating a new page and again the Full Width option will not work?
    This is very urgent as our Home page is a full width design and now does not work? How can I reinstall Genesis 2.2.3 if there is no solution please?
    Thanks

    OK, I found the solution in another Forum but wow this is SO unlike Genesis! What is happening that we have to go and edit core framework files to make something that basic work properly?

    What's the fix you found?

    Hi
    There are a few Posts on this subject but this is the clunky solution.

    Basically:
    Advice from StudioPress’s Facebook page…
    If you’re having the layout issue with 2.2.4, change the following line in lib/functions/layout.php (line 343) to this:

    $post_id = is_home() ? get_option( ‘page_for_posts’ ) : null;

    So, you have to go into the core Genesis files and edit the code as detailed above.
    I have several Genesis websites so I'm not going to update Genesis on those until they get a fix sorted.

    Just piping up, I had same issue, on all 125 or so pages :/. The above fix worked for me as well but yeah, was surprised to have to edit core files, will not be updating other sites till fix is in.
