you would have to hook the slider into genesis_before_content or genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap

You can follow this tutorial:

Add a Slider to the Home Page in Genesis Theme WordPress using Cyclone Slider

If you don't want to use the cyclone slider, just ignore the parts about using short codes and text widget to show it.

Finally wpbeaches came back up and I just copied the code there and pasted it in functions.php and it worked perfectly! I´ll just add some css styling, thanks!
