How do I use the 'WordPress SEO Plugin by Yoast' on a Genesis Front Page. In my case the 'Altitude Pro Theme.'

    Thanks

Install Yoast and it will automatically bypass the themes SEO.

I am very keen on understanding the difference between just letting Genesis go to work at SEO and using the yoast plugin. I am not sure whether I should install Yoast or not, does it make a lot of sense?
I'd be grateful for any tips here, thanks.
