Help. My homepage exploded. And all kinds of weirdness happening.
All I thought I was doing was adding SEO title and description with the YOast plugin, but for some reason, the HOME page got totally messed up and I lost a lot of content. To make matters worse, I can't find the REVISIONS link even though it used to show up. I did a search and this is a common thing it seems!!! Unlucky me.
So I decided to import the Sample content again to see what went missing. Didn't really help. But the sample page Did show the - Front Page Hero Section again.
I switched my homepage back to my home page, but the Front Page Hero Section content isn't showing up now. It's there in the customize section. I'm looking at it, pressing publish, but nothing. Yet, if I switch it back to "Live the life you deserve" page, it works.
Please help. The thought of redoing my Home Page has me weeping.
PS. I am very sad that the Home Page Title shows up right in the main Hero section. My site's <title> tag looks ridiculous there. I was hoping to have marketing messages there that change often. But if I change my marketing messages, this will change the Home Page Title too. Isn't this bad for SEO? Is there a theme that doesn't do this?https://irenedumateachesart.com/
Update. I just turned my homepage blocks into templates and added them to the "Live the life you deserve" home page.
I did try changing home page to other pages - that Hero block only shows up on "Live the life you deserve", so something weird is happening.
Still don't know how this happened if all i was doing was changing the SEO with the yoast plugin.
NOPE. It's gone on this page now too. It's there in the customize box, but not showing up when published.
