    We'd like to remove the date, posts and comment links at the very top of the site, I'm still searching and assume that would be in the CSS style sheet, is there where I should be looking? Thanks for any direction!

    Those are HTML elements, not design aspects. They won't be found in your style sheet. I'm not familiar with this theme, but if you're not able to remove them with any back-end settings, you'll probably need to edit .php file(s).
