I've created a form on my website, to capture information from people that are wanting to work with me. I followed a tutorial that someone had written about creating a form, but also added some other code to make text boxes etc. The information should all be captured by Aweber but instead they are only capturing the name and email address. Any help on why this is happening would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
This is what I have done:
<!-- AWeber Web Form Generator 3.0.1 -->
<form class="af-form-wrapper" accept-charset="UTF-8" action="https://www.aweber.com/scripts/addlead.pl" method="post">
<div style="display: none;"><input name="meta_web_form_id" type="hidden" value="1373978769" />
<input name="meta_split_id" type="hidden" value="" />
<input name="listname" type="hidden" value="awlist3942239" />
<input id="redirect_a9e9ebe36363fc4846970ad72ed1494c" name="redirect" type="hidden" value="http://livelearngrow.co.nz/opportunity-intro" /><input name="meta_adtracking" type="hidden" value="Work_with_Sarah" />
<input name="meta_message" type="hidden" value="1" />
<input name="meta_required" type="hidden" value="name,email" /><input name="meta_tooltip" type="hidden" value="custom Phone||Phone,,custom Skype||Skype,,custom Address||Address,,custom Experience||Experience,,custom Time||Time" /></div>
<div class="optin_form">
<div style="text-align: center;">Fill out the form below with your details. After submitting you should receive an email with information on my primary business.</div>
<div><input name="name" size="30" type="text" placeholder="Name" /></div>
<div><input name="email" type="text" placeholder="Email" /></div>
<div><input name="phone" type="text" placeholder="Phone" /></div>
<div><input name="skype" type="text" placeholder="Skype" /></div>
<div><input name="address" type="text" placeholder="City, Country" /></div>
<div><input name="experience" type="textarea" placeholder="Describe any experience you have had in the home business industry" />
<div><input name="time" type="textarea" placeholder="How much time each week do you have to put into a side business?" />

<div><input name="submit" type="submit" value="Submit" /></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</form>
<div style="text-align: center;">Please only submit if you are serious about learning about this opportunity and ready to get started.</div>
<div style="display: none;"></div>July 9, 2015 at 12:12 am #158872ayktMemberI found the documentation (I think) for the script you're using:
https://help.aweber.com/hc/en-us/articles/204027896-Can-I-Use-My-Own-Form-When compared to your source, you seem the have omitted the word 'custom' from the name of your input fields;
name and email are expected so they're not custom fields.make change:
<div><input name=”custom phone” type=”text” placeholder=”Phone” /></div>
<div><input name=”custom skype” type=”text” placeholder=”Skype” /></div>
<div><input name=”custom address” type=”text” placeholder=”City, Country” /></div>assuming, your database is setup to store those fields:
https://help.aweber.com/hc/en-us/articles/204027516-How-Do-I-Collect-More-Than-Just-Name-and-Email-Address-they should then be saved to your database
