    Hi,

    When I add a widget to any of the front pages, the footer widgets disappear.

    Does anyone know why this is? I would like the footer widgets 1-3 to remain when I add to the front pages.

    Thanks in advance for your help!

    That's not a bug. It's the way the theme is designed. With any Studio Press theme with a widgetized home page, the home page code is not executed until you add at least one widget. If you edit front-page.php, you'll see the following code at line 51:

    // Remove site footer widgets.
    remove_theme_support( 'genesis-footer-widgets' );

    This code removes the footer widgets from the front page display. To keep them on the front-page, either comment out or delete the line that starts with remove_theme_support.

    Thanks Victor!

    I edited out the line in the front-page.php file and the footer widgets reappeared.
