Footer Text – Return To Top Of Page

Hi!

Does anyone know how to change the text for the "Return to top of page" statement in the Footer?

I've found this link and tried this snippet...but it didn't work.

Need help – Fabric theme "return to top of page"

Any other thoughts?

Add the following code in your functions.php file

add_filter('genesis_footer_backtotop_text', 'gd_footer_backtotop_text');
function gd_footer_backtotop_text( $backtotop_text ) {
  $backtotop_text = '[footer_backtotop text="ENTER YOUR TEXT HERE"]'; //Replace ENTER YOUR TEXT HERE by your word 

  return $backtotop_text;
}

I tried that...still get the "Return to top of page" text.

I'm using the Lifestyle Pro theme.

Yeah...I'm using that.

From Simple Edits:

<div class="gototop">[footer_backtotop]</div>

[Genesis Developer]

Then try this

<div class="gototop">[footer_backtotop text="ENTER YOUR TEXT HERE"]</div>
