    Hello I am running fontawesome on Magazine Pro.

    The home icon has no space between the menu's text lable

    It was my understanding that font awesome put this space in, and I have tried a number of things to Magazine Pro's styles.CSS but something seems to be overwriting it.

    Any assistance would be appreciated

    Cheers,

    Clint

    Fontawesome does not insert spaces. Add a negative margin-left to .genesis-nav-menu .menu-item::before at line 1208 in style.css.

    I recommend when using FA for things like lists / menus to use fa-fw within your classing. This forces fixed width and aligns things without your needing special CSS (most of the time). As this is probably set in css custom style of your menu item you'll do as Victor said as it is a little bit different when in menu items - but this is a tip for general use of FA in sites; when doing lists, menus, etc use fa-fw as it'll make your life so much easier.

    for example:

    <i class="fa fa-fw fa-home">
