    My theme is Aspire Pro. The fontawesome icons were pre-installed by the theme and worked correctly. Suddenly they disappeared.
    I download the file from the fontawesome site I deleted the old file and uploaded the new one, in this section of the theme files:

    public-html/wp-content/plugins/genesis-blocks/assets/fontawesome

    In the function file I inserted a code taken from the web (because I deleted the pre-installed one by mistake).
    In row 88

    //* Add Font Awesome Support
    function wpb_load_fa() {
    wp_enqueue_style( 'wpb-fa', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/fonts/css/font-awesome.min.css' );
    }
    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'wpb_load_fa' );

    Now they don't work, how can I fix it? Would you give me the original code to insert in the function.php file?
    Please help me
    Thanks

    I recently ran into this same issue on one of the sites I manage. Fontawesome has been going through significant revisions and some of the reference IDs for icons have changed. You have to locate the icon on the Fontawesome website and use the new ID for the icons you want.
