    Hi all

    I have been working on the genesis sample theme and found out issues with fonts size bugging.(the bug seems to be limited to the menu, changing size randomly)
    I have checked and tried the tip given here http://www.studiopress.community/topic/font-sizing-bug-in-chrome/

    css file from genesis sample theme

    html {
    font-size: 62.5%; /* 10px browser default */
    }

    body {
    background-color: #f5f5f5;
    color: #666;
    font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    font-size: 16px;
    font-size: 1.6rem;
    font-weight: 300;
    line-height: 1.625;
    }

    but the CSS file already has the 2 values in px and rem.

    The problem seems only present with chrome.

    Please note I noticed this issue right after the upload and activation of the genesis sample theme.

    so am I the only one having this problem? hope you guys found a way to fix this issue.

    thank you

    chris

    Try removing the rem value from that CSS rule - using px by itself seems to fix a lot of the issues in Chrome. I usually do a search for "rem" in the stylesheet and remove them all. The child themes are (slowly) being updated to remove rem values and go back to just px.

    hi andrea

    yeah, this is what I have just found out 😉
    I had just noticed there was no bug with the beautiful theme which is one of the most recent themes.... I checked the css file and indeed studiopress "gave up" the rem unit
    so yeah i will remove the rem value, at least from the body and will keep the rem value in other parts as it seems to be mainly a conflict from the "heritage" from the body... though I am not sure... ;(
    Thank you andrea for your answer 😉
