    I would like the font color in the nav bars to be black. Can someone help me with figuring out how to do this, please?

    Add the following rules to the bottom of the style.css of the child theme or go to Appearance > Editor > then style.css and add the rules to the bottom:

    For menu buttons underneath header;
    #subnav li a{
    color: #000 !important;
    }

    For drop-down buttons;

    #subnav li li a, #subnav li li a:link, #subnav li li a:visited{
    color: #000 !important;
    }

    For buttons above the header:
    #nav li a{
    color: #000 !important;
    }

    Note: you have minify plugin installed and you will have to deactivate or sometimes delete it to see the changes in the css. You can install it back on afterwards.

    Thanks

    Thanks so much for the help! I'm not having any luck making it work. I have unchecked the minify but it's not a plug in on this theme. I tried adding it in both CSS editing places, one at a time-- not sure which one takes priority over the other so tried them both. Sure wished the font color was a simple dropdown menu choice on the theme! Would make it easier for a newbie like me.
