Searched and Searched but can't find the problem or a solution:

Background: I use the Featured page widget in the home middle section. That pulls a page that has two columns (2/3 left, 1/3 right).

In the 2/3 left I'm using a Widgets on Pages plugin (Widgitize Page Light but also tried Widgets on Pages) to place the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin to pull in 5 blog posts with limited content. The other 1/3 has content that mimics the primary sidebar (just formated html).

The problem is that below this content it is pulling in additional blog posts that should not be showing.

See here: http://glazerconstruction.com - scroll down to bottom half.

What I can't figure out is:

    1. Is the post widget causing the issue (removed Featured Widget Amplified but get same problem with standard Featured Post plugin). With removal of Featured Widget Amplified short code extra blog posts do not show on home page.
    2. Is something not working with the theme - see side note below.

Side note: I experienced the issue with Executive 2.0 theme after upgrading to WordPress 3.6 and Genesis 2.01. After not finding a solution updated theme to Executive Pro and deleted Executive 2.0. Issue is still there so likely isn't a theme issue.

Finally disabled all plugins but issue still remains.

    Any thoughts or help appreciated.

    Sean

Solved issue: My guess is that by using Featured Posts in Widgitize page widget, fed into a page and then pulled into home middle by Featured post generated a conflict between Featured Post and Featured Page widgets.

Instead took code that was on the page I was pulling into home middle and placed it in a text widget for home middle.

Have to remember to keep it simple.
