The issue I am having is that the featured posts widget is not displaying the most current posts. This problem is occurring on several of my sites and I can't figure out how to to fix it without coding the script to replace the widget.
The site has two widget areas:
Student Widget #1 - Main featured post. It should display the most current post from the specific category. Currently, displaying a post from 1/7.Student Widget #2 - Secondary featured posts. This widget has an offset of 1 and displays 2 of the most current posts. Displaying posts from 1/19 and 1/12.
Here are the widget settings:
Here is a screenshot of the posts for that category with the quick edit showing for the post trumping the date sort.
The Student Widget #1 should show the 1/19 post and the Student Widget #2 should show 1/15 and 1/7 posts. Can anyone help me figure this out or possibly direct me to a script to replace this?
