Featured Post Widget Alignment issue in Fabric8ted theme

Hello, I am using the Featured Post Widget in the sidebar on this site: http://sparklesandastove.com and I cannot get the post title to line up beside of the image.  I have tried Nick's Featured Widget amplified and am having the same problem. I do have the settings in the widget correct for the image to be left aligned but I cannot get it to align.   I am wondering if there's some css missing in this theme as I have not had this problem on any other themes?  Any help is appreciated. I have researched, googled and tried to compare stylesheets with other themes but I have had no luck.  Thank you!

Here is what I came up with (a bit of a hack);

.featuredpost .entry {
        overflow: hidden; /* correct all the clearing going on */
        margin-bottom: 10px; /* optional */
}

.featuredpost a.alignleft {
        margin-right: 10px; /* add some space between the img and the title */
}

.featuredpost .entry h2 {
        clear: right; /* this was clearing both, dropping it below the image */
}
