Featured Page text bleeding into image

Okay, this is really weird. I'm setting up my new website using Centric. For Home Widget 2, I'm using two featured pages with images. I've got the images sized close to 960x700.

As I expand my browser and the content goes from vertical (mobile mode) to horizontal (desktop mode)...
The last few sentences/words of the content just before the <more> AND the <more> button overlap onto the image.

I can't figure out what I did or what needs fixing. Help is sooooo appreciated.

The problem is coming from the following block of code at line 1459 in style.css:

.home-widgets .featuredpage .entry .alignleft, .home-widgets .featuredpage .entry .alignnone, .home-widgets .featuredpage .entry .alignright {
    margin-bottom: -148px;
    margin-top: -140px;
}

The negative bottom margin is forcing the text over. Make the negative bottom margin smaller, maybe around -100px and your text should appear correctly.

The -148px is default from SP. So, it should be right since I didn't tinker with that setting.

I did try your suggestion, and got limited results. It fixed the issue for FULL width screen (wider than 1350px). BUT as I shrunk the browser, from about 1250px to 1350px wide, your suggestion does not work. I even went as far as setting margin-bottom to -1px

I'll leave it at -1px for a few hours so you can see (if you have a chance).

Here's something that I'm observing...

The images for those widgets go ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM of the widget. Mine DON'T.

I think THERE lies a clue. And since my images DON'T GET RESIZED to fit all the way to the bottom, the text wraps UNDER the image.

Well... after about 6hrs working on this, I cave. I can't fight this anymore. If I limit the number of words, the amount of content above the <more>, it works as advertised. So, I'm comforting to the template, instead of the other way around (so I can move forward and finish my site).
