An existing site that I am applying the Magazine Pro theme, has posts with featured images of every conceivable size and dimension set. The site owner won't web-ready images, and feels smush pro is the answer to properly preparing images for the web. This is typical of content authors and seems to be a recurring theme.

On the Magazine Pro homepage the post's featured images aren't re-sizing and showing in the aspect ratio stipulated in the features post widget (yeah I know functions.php is telling the widget the size options).

Is this standard for the theme & genesis framework to not dynamically resize the featured image to fit into the theme's specified dimensions? Does something like woo_image exist in the Genesis world to do this?

    Hi,

if I understand you correctly, you would have to use a plugin like regenerate thumbnails or force regenerate thumbnails.
