My client has uploaded a Header Background Image for the Front Page and then Featured images for her following pages. The Background Image is showing for all her pages and her featured images are not showing. The only page coming up as correct is My Story. Any clue?https://hymnsinmyheart.com
Bumping back up to top. We've got it corrected except for the Blog Post page (Reflections, in this case). Does Essence Pro default to showing only the header image for its feature image? We have a different image loaded but it doesn't show.
Same problem here. In previous websites in Essence Pro there was no problem with featured images showing up. I get just one image on all pages.
Did you solve this? Can you tell me what you did?
Ah of course, I changed the css in customizer for the overlay gradient of the featured image and by this way set the image for the whole site. So, it's solved.
@dkf, glad you figured out your issue. For mine, I deleted all the featured images I had set, exited my site, cleared the cache (probably even turned off the computer) and then re-entered the featured images. All pages worked except the Blog Post page. I ended up contacting Essence Pro theme support and was told the theme default is that the blog page shares the homepage image.
@dkf, is this default for your blog page the same? I too had adjusted the transparency of the gradient. Curious why this would affect featured image availability?
Probably because the settings for the image gradient also include the url for the background image. Maybe setting this in custom css overrules the featured image settings? I don't know. I now adjusted the gradient settings in the functions file. That works fine.
