I was writing on my blog tonight, and realized I'm using a theme that has no mobile support, so I was looking to correct that.

Turns out I'm using a theme you guys no longer sell/support, I presume? It's Expose. Not Pro, just Expose. Given I can't find it anywhere, I have to presume it's been discontinued and is no longer supported? I was looking to see if there was a newer version that perhaps had mobile support, but alas I seem to be stuck there.

I've attached my site link to this post. Thing is I like the way the front page is laid out like that - with the featured image and a snippet like that. I don't think any of the new themes - including Expose Pro do this, correct?

    Tkx.

You can display the standard loop of posts in 3 columns using CSS or PHP code.

Most themes display the standard loop when front/home page widgets are not active.

OK, tkx. I'll take a look at that. I was thinking of moving to Mocha, and if I can get this working, it'll do nicely, I think.

Also, I am correct that it's discontinued, right?

If Expose is no longer listed on the themes page, then yes, it's likely been retired.

Be aware that Mocha, Decor, Prose, Balance and Mindstream (the ones listed at the bottom of that page without the HTML5 indicator) are not mobile responsive either.

Except that Mocha, Decor, Prose, Balance and Mindstream ARE all mobile-responsive. 🙂

Maybe we have different definitions of mobile responsive?

Those themes don't have HTML5 support, and from what I remember last time I looked, they didn't define media screens smaller than 800px wide... I remember seeing 1200px, 960px, and 800px, but nothing smaller.

That's not something I would have hallucinated, at least I don't think so 😉

You're gonna make me go look, aren't you...

CSS2/HTML4 for media queries will work ...

... but width: 100% at almost all screen widths doesn't do much for device differentiation.
