Hi, I'm experiencing pages (not posts) deleting themselves randomly.

I'm developing an existing site locally through desktop server 3.9.4 on mac os 10.15.3. So unable to post a link. Working on WordPress 5.3.2 running Corporate Pro child theme for Genesis 3.2.1.

I have imported several years worth of posts and images using the wordpress export and import tool but have manually set up the pages.

There is only one user which is the one I set up when installing wordpress originally locally and have replaced all imported user details to this one.

I have run Wordfence on the high sensitivity setting to check if there is any malware causing the issue but it says the site is clean and upto date.

The site is very large at around 16gig and was wondering if that would have anything to do with it? If so is there a way to allow for this size.

I look forward to any pointers as I'm baffled!

    regards

    Daniel

As part of the troubleshooting process, have you switched to the default WordPress theme to see if it still happens?

Thanks for your reply Anita, I haven't yet but will try your suggestion.
What would be the next step if it happens then?

I would say if this is happening in a "local" environment, check with the program you are using or move your development to a Live server. It would be very difficult to troubleshoot something happening local when it may not be happening if you're on a Live hosting environment. So push it up to a server.
