Hi working with Executive Pro - through help from Nuts and Bolts got full width header to be mobile responsive but I cannot eliminate the space between the header and the header right widget that I used to add the business phone number in the top of the site and there is space below the site inner and the footer widgets. Any help. Working on it for couple of hours and losing mind. Thanks.

Because of the way you're handling that header image you're going to have to adjust your min-height for .title-area at each media query to make this work.

An easier way to do handle a logo is explained here: http://blackhillswebworks.com/2013/05/10/how-to-replace-the-studiopress-background-header-image-with-a-real-image-logo/

For the gap between the site inner and the footer widgets, you have an empty paragraph tag in the text widget that contains your Commercial and Residential images/script.

    Thank you for responding.

I am having a hard time determining the min-height for each media query. It is bugging me that you can't just can't use 100% like you can with the height. UGH. I really want to stay on the path I am on (Nuts and Bolts) helped get me this far but it appears that path will require me to revisit or keep tweaking. Tomorrow's another day so perhaps I will get brave and try your suggestion via the link.

Any firebug tutorials you would suggest.

Again, thanks much...amazing how smart and savvy so many of you guys are...

    You're welcome!

This looks like a pretty good 2-video Firebug tutorial series: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdIk2PztcL0 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f38GEk27uj4

When you realize that the path you're on isn't the right or best path, the wise choice is to get off that path, no matter how much time you've been on it. And in my opinion, using a background image for a website logo is not the right or best path.
