    Hi,

I'm having a little trouble trying to exclude one category from the Featured Posts Widget.

I need the drop down to say "All Categories" but then I need a box where I can add an array of IDs where I can exclude specific ones.

Any ideas how I can do this in terms of a function or filter?

    Thanks,

    Jack

I'd love to know how to do this, too.

Hi, here is another vote to learn how to do this. I have found that Genesis Featured Widget Amplified has that option but i would rather learn how to do it manually. Thanks.

You can rebuild the widget and modify the parameters to exclude a category.
