    Hi there

    I have a vertical line between the header and contents in my theme, which is apparently a style feature. I would like to remove this and have used some information I found on the forum:

    starting around line 719 of the stylesheet you will see this. The element on the image displayed above is on the ".single site-inner::before" element.
    .error404 .site-inner::before,
    .page .site-inner::before,
    .single .site-inner::before {
    background-color: #a86500;
    content: "";
    display: block;
    height: 100px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    position: relative;
    top: -50px;
    width: 2px;
    z-index: 9;
    }

    I made the width 0 and the background colour transparent but the line is still visible. I have no idea really about coding, please can anyone help?

    There's no vertical line. You're probably seeing an older version of the style sheet that's been cached by your browser. Clear any and all caches and hold down the shift key when you refresh the page. This forces the browser to download a new version of the style cheet.
