Hi There. I usually use the jetpack visibility feature to dictate which pages i want different widgets to show up on. I would like to add 3 featured pages to the after content featured widget like the demo has but i would like to have them displayed on all pages other than the home page and on the home page i would like the latest news to show up in this widget area as currently set up. When i try adding the featured widgets and selecting hide if page is front page. it doesn't show up on any pages. i also tried showing it on a specific page ex show if page is about and it didnt show up. Any suggestions are helpful, thx!

You could go a step further and add a checkbox using the ACF plugin.
Either way, find the code which adds the widget first.
