I have chosen to use CSS to hide the entry-header (& by default the entry-title) and insert my own h1 tag at the top of each post. I did this mainly for cosmetic reasons - I display a video at the top of each post that has its own SEO meta data attached, including a title, and I don't want two titles displayed. However, I notice that when I display the source code, both h1 tags are there, only one is set not to display. See attached screen shot of source code showing the duplicate h1 tags:

    Some questions about this:

    (1) Should I be concerned about duplicate h1 tags?

    (2) How can I prevent entry-title from showing up in source code? I don't see a control in the genesis theme options to prevent this. Many other themes have a "no title" page and post template to choose from. Am I missing it here?

    Thanks for the help.

PS: no link to share - developed localhost.
