When using the Customizer Theme Settings/Content Archives and I select to use "Entry Content", I can then select how many characters to display. How can I change the setting to be the number of words to display?
I know that I could choose to use "Entry Excerpts" which would then use the WP standard 55 words (unless I put something in functions.php to change the number of words) but if I select "Entry Excerpts" I'd want to be able to change the number of words right there in the customizer.
There's always the Advanced Excerpt plugin, but I'd really like to do this without adding a plugin.
Any thoughts?
