Enable Featured Image in Blog Archives, Remove Before Entry Content – Generate

Hi There

I am using the Generate Pro theme for my new business website, it's a great theme, I love it.

However I really want to get into blogging this year and I've got a problem which I just can't seem to find the answer to in these forums. I hope someone can help.

I wish to keep the featured image here:

But remove it from the post here:

http://vipets.co.nz/how-to-protect-your-precious-pets-from-fear-and-harm-this-guy-fawkes-night/

Everything I do seems to remove it from both.

Did you add an image to the start of the editor? If so, you'll need to remove it manually.

The best way to add the featured image before or after the single post entry title is to use code. If you did this you can simply remove the code on line 88 to 97 in your child themes functions.php file which adds the image on single posts.

The Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives only effect archive pages and not single posts.

Thank you for the fast reply.

The image at the top of the post is not added manually, it automatically appears when I select 'Include the Featured Image' in Theme Settings > Content Archives. The images disappear from both the content archives and the post when the option is unchecked. I also have not added any code to make it appear within the post.

Thank you! I had tried removing 88 - 97 but you prompted me to revisit this. Removing 85 - 97 worked!
