    Hi buddies
I am using lifestyle pro theme. I want to make a landing page (home page or a simple page) with email optin box and images. Can you suggest me something?

You could copy and rename the page_lading.php file and add a widget to it

    or

Copy the front-page.php file and rename it along with renaming each function name and widget I.D in the copied file.

Thanks Braddalton for your response. I have no technical knowledge regarding this. Can you please elaborate things in a simple manner.

If you want to develop your theme yourself, i suggest you install WordPress locally and give it a go.

If you try my suggestions and add a widget, you'll be able to achieve what you want. http://my.studiopress.com/tutorials/register-widget-area/

Another option is to find a template which already included what you want.

This is my work which creates a custom landing page template with widgets however its not free.
