Eleven40 Theme – increase left side border margins

Hello Friends,

1. I installed a social plugin digg-digg , but it does not have enough space on the left, So I would like to increase the left side margins and decrease the width of the whole content section( blog post and primary sidebar) in my blog.

2. My blog is http://ideasU.com

3. I am using eleven40 child theme with genesis framework

4. Any advise on which css file to edit and what settings to edit in the CSS file would be great.

Add following code to style.css file before media queries

#dd_ajax_float {
   left: -95px !important;
}

Increase / decrease value for finer adjustments.

Thanks for the quick help. I am still not clear on where to put the code.

How do I know where the media queries entry is.
I searched for the word "media" in the style.css file and I found "@media only screen and (max-width: 1200px) "
Should I put the code before this entry.

Please advise.

Also, to reduce size of content area and make some empty space.

Change..

.content-sidebar #content {
    border-left: none;
    padding: 25px 39px 30px 0px;
}

to...

.content-sidebar #content {
    border-left: none;
    padding: 25px 39px 30px 60px;
}

Awesome, It worked.

I just did the ".content-sidebar #content {" change and not the "#dd_ajax_float" change.
