    I had added the custom content on the manual excerpt section in the wordpress editor. But, the manual excerpts not showing up at all.

    How to make the manual excerpts showing up on the homepage, categories, tags and archive pages?

    Is it possible to configure it to use the original excerpts by default and the custom manual excerpts will only showed up if it is been used on the particular post?

    Look under Genesis > Theme Settings, the Content Archive section. What do you have selected in Display? You will want that to be Entry Excerpts.
