    My site was working fine when it suddenly stopped showing the primary and secondary sidebars. They show ok on all the other pages so only the Home Page is affected.

    The only changes I made just before that were:

    1. I removed AdInserter ads from the site. (I have since disabled the Ad Inserter plugin) but it didn't help.

    2. I changed the location of the menus. I have now returned them to their previous settings but I still can't see the two sidebars.

    You have broken HTML that is pushing the sidebars to the bottom of the page. The cause is a mismatched div tag. You have an open div without an associated closing div. Run your page through a validator.
