    I'm using Education Pro and out of the blue, I got an email from the WordFence security plugin (premium) that said:

    =========
    Critical Problems:

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-includes/default-constants.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-includes/post-template.php

    =========
    The site seems fine and I haven't touched the website in several days so I know there were no changes made by me.

    Is there a way within a Genesis theme to tell if a change to a file is legitimate or not?

    Hi,

    as Wordfence said, the file change concerns WordPress core files and has nothing to do with Genesis.

    Sucuri says your website has been infected with SPAM.:
