    I am trying to edit the Filed In and Tagged: text included in the post_meta info.
    I've tried using the Genesis Simple Edits plugin and I can prefix each item with "Category:" and "Tags:" however it STILL shows Filed In and Tagged in the information.
    I've then tried using the following code in functions.php but again it doesn't get rid of the original prefixes.

    What on earth am I missing:

    //* Customize the post meta function
    add_filter( 'genesis_post_meta', 'sp_post_meta_filter' );
    function sp_post_meta_filter($post_meta) {
    if ( !is_page() ) {
    $post_meta = '[post_categories before="Category: "] [post_tags before="Tags: "]';
    return $post_meta;
    }}

    Code which uses the same filter hook genesis_post_meta as whats included in the plugin might not work when the plugin is active.

    I suggest you use code to modify the post meta and remove the plugin.
